KITCHEN: Clutter Zones
Kitchens are the hub of a home, cooking, eating, and storing pots, pans, kitchen electronics,
and cooking supplies. We pack in as much as possible, overlooking a systemized kitchen plan.
A kitchen plan makes it easy to access cooking items and food supplies.
Below are common kitchen clutter corners with quick-fix solutions.

KITCHEN: Before + After

Cupboard Clutter
Stuffing and cramming food packages and bottles means you have to hunt when cooking.
Food items might be past their expiration dates.
You might also double-shop for what you already have in your cupboard.
Roommates complicate the cupboard chaos with multi-person items jammed together.
An organized cupboard will let you find what you need when you need it.
Here are some quick-fix kitchen cupboard solutions.

THE SCARY DRAWER
We all have drawers in our kitchen full of random things that build up over time.
Take everything out. Remove what doesn’t belong.
Put back items that have a purpose in the drawer’s zone, i.e.: stovetop cooking.
Wine corks, snake-like twist-ties, fast-food condiments, can be recycled or put in organizer trays.

Living Room: Shared Spaces
A media center can become a catch-all for tv entertainment, books, magazine, even extra unused laptops!
Defining a centralized purpose for the media center, will reduce clutter, clear-out what you aren’t using and free-up space. The media center below was organized with the same-with-same method. Items that didn’t belong were moved to other defined places or donated.
